Here is our weekly maintenance list:
- Brush pool walls and walkways
- Clean the cleaner
- Clean skimmer and motor basket
- Vacuum pool
- Inspect all equipment for leaks
- Balance chlorine, PH, and alkalinity
- Test for hardness and CYA
- Backwash filters D/E when needed
- Treatment against algae
- Clean all filters
- Any additional chemical treatments as needed
An appropriate pool cleaning can prevent such problems as: scaly surface on pool walls or floor caused by incorrectly balanced PH, total alkalinity and calcium, cloudy water caused by dirty filters, green water caused by low levels of chlorine which allows algae to grow or SPA, stains in pool caused by steel or iron accessories due to low PH levels, among other problems.
